How You Can Help
Like all programs and services at Cancer Support Community: the Staenberg Family Foundation Cancer Services program is completely free-of-charge to cancer patients. This program relies exclusively on financial contributions from generous donors like you. Our administrative costs are very low ensuring that a donation made to this program directly helps people in need. Your financial support allows more patients to be helped.

Help a Cancer Patient Obtain Medically-Related Supplies
Not Covered by Insurance from
Cancer Support Community's
Staenberg Family Foundation Cancer Services
Mission
To improve the quality of life for cancer patients who are financially in need by helping them obtain medically related items not covered by insurance.
What Items Are Covered
We provide nutritional supplements, incontinence products, voice prosthesis, wigs, compression garments, bath chairs and various other durable medical equipment, ostomy supplies, mastectomy bras, breast prostheses, and other items that are not always covered by insurance. Vouchers are issued to patients for items that need to be fitted or personally selected. Most other items can be delivered to a patient’s home. In order to be good stewards of the funds available for this program, we limit the quantities of some of these items and all patients receiving assistance through this program are subject to a limited amount of assistance per calendar year.
Who Is Eligible?
Any person with a cancer diagnosis who is financially in need of medically related supplies not otherwise covered by private insurance, Medicare, or Medicaid.
Generally, patients with annual household incomes of $50,000 and higher will not be eligible for assistance through this program.
Patients must reside in St. Louis City, St. Louis County, St. Charles County, Jefferson County, or Franklin County in Missouri; Madison, Monroe or St. Clair Counties in Illinois OR come to the St. Louis Metro area for treatment.
