A day to celebrate survivorship, honor loved ones and support
Cancer Support Community of Greater St. Louis.
Cancer Support Community is about people, community, friendship and hope. All proceeds raised from the Cancer Survivorship Walk benefit Cancer Support Community's free services and programs for people affected by cancer. Families, friends, neighbors, co-workers and individuals gather on this special day to celebrate survivorship and remember those who have passed away from cancer.
The Walk starts at 10am on Saturday, April 28, 2012 at the Tremayne Pavilion in Sailboat Cove, through beautiful Creve Coeur Park with rest stops available along the course. Event festivities include the warm up with Val Strang, raffle, and Inspiration Pavilion, which offers an opportunity for walkers to post photos of their loved ones, or share inspiring stories about a family member, friend or co-worker.

Dorsett Road Closure and Detour
A portion of Dorsett Road is going to close on 4/25 and traffic will be detoured to get to Creve Coeur Park. A detour map from Creve Coeur Park is attached .
Alternate directions to Creve Coeur Park due to detour on Dorsett Road (which begins 4/25/12):
I-270 to MO-364 (Page Extension); exit 364 at Bennington Road – go north on Bennington to Marine Avenue; turn left (west) on Marine; stay on Marine to Sailboat Cove (left) to Tremayne Pavilion.
Follow the Walk signs. It is a short walk to the Tremayne Pavilion and Walk Check In/Registration.

- Would like to honor the memory of a loved one
- Want to support people living with cancer in our community
