Nia Instructor: Marianne Rosenthal , B.S., M.A.T
Minimize

Marianne Rosenthal  brings her experiences in dance arts, martial arts, and healing arts to inform her Nia practice and teaching. Marianne also offers the Wise Women’s Writing Workshop seasonally at Cancer Support Community.

Marianne fuses her background as a High School English teacher with her natural rapport for working with students to create their highest potential. Through her passion for mind body spirit wellness, Marianne offers Nia as a systemic workout and lifestyle practice. She also integrates Zumba (Latin-based dance fitness) in her Nia teaching style from time to time.

Marianne believes that creating community is key to the climate of the classroom. What a fabulous healing opportunity to offer Nia at Cancer Support Community!

The greatest gift of teaching Nia for Marianne is the knowledge that her students will leave a Nia class feeling better in their bodies than when they entered the space. Nia offers self-healing through the JOY of movement, eclectic and sensual music from around the world, and a dose of magic!
